You may have wondered why I haven’t worked on this blog. I have been on location working with homebiz entrepreneurs in the US and Abroad. What I found out was that they all have one thing in common and that is getting their business noticed.

Establishing a new business is great but getting customers was the difficult part and in today’s business climate it was especially so.

One area that could work was using effective social media marketing avenues like Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and more.

What’s all the fuss about – don’t want your prospective clients to know that you have a home-based business. In my recent travels working with homebiz people, found out that they try not to admit that they have a homebiz – they feel they won’t be taken seriously and won’t be able to get the best corporate or business clients. Well this could be a problem with some homebiz people but it is all in how you present yourself and your buisness. Whether on the road or in your office – you need to exude confidence in your appearance as well as your demeanor. When meeting with prospective clients be prepared for your presentations – don’t do things in the last minute – plan ahead and create an environment that will be inviting and professional. Give them the impression that your business is what they need.
